Modern WRX models with multiple catalytic converters are quieter than ever. That’s why we’ve re-engineered our Varex system to overcome this — unlocking more volume, more character, and more control.

The new Varex WR mufflers give you the ability to switch from OEM-quiet to a deep, aggressive, high-output sound with zero drone. When paired with the optional SmartBox, you can automate sound control via speed, throttle position, RPM, or GPS location.

Constructed from 304-grade stainless steel, the system is built to withstand heat, boost, and spirited driving — while providing the sound performance today’s WRX owners demand.
